Apprenticeship Application Complete



Thanks for your payment. Congratulations on completing the application for the Lafayette Electrical JATC. You now have 30 days to complete the application process by getting your official high school transcripts (showing 1 year of Algebra with a passing grade) a GED (if you have one) and a copy of your driver’s license.

  1. All forms can be mailed to P.O. Box 5015, Lafayette, IN. 47903 and or emailed to bentief@lejatc.com.
  2. We will also accept college transcripts using the same process.

In addition to the required paperwork please send your Resume and letters of recommendation to, P.O. Box 5015, Lafayette, Indiana 47903 or send in an email attachment to bentiefel@lejatc.com.

PLEASE NOTE: We now interview twice a year. The 1st Session is March – August, the 2nd Session is September – February. Interviews will be scheduled twice a year.

If the application isn’t completed in 30 days, and all paperwork received, it will be deemed invalid and you would have to reapply.
Once the application process is completed, you will be put on a list to take our aptitude test, which measures your reading comprehension and math skills. You will be notified of the aptitude test date by mail, so make sure to keep your address is current with the JATC. With the number of applications we are currently receiving, it could be months before you are notified of the aptitude test date. If you pass the aptitude test, you will be notified by mail of your oral interview date and the time.

Please submit a DD-214 to verify military training and/or experience if you are a veteran and wish to receive consideration for such training/experience. You may email the form to bentiefel@lejatc.com.
